Day 8- Skiathos and Pelion Peninsula

This morning we woke up early so that we could get to the beach before we had to catch the ferry back to Volos at 2:15. It was very hot in the morning. We went to Megali Amos beach, it was close to where we were staying. We hopped on the bus to stop #5. We decided to walk back to our room since it was so close. And wouldn't you know it we were wondering around town lost. We asked a lady who didn't speak any english at all and she managed to get us back to the main road. We got back to Volos and got in our car. We had souvlaki for lunch and then headed for the Pelion Peninsula (it is around 5 at night now). We drove around for about 2 hours until we stopped at a village for the night. I was car sick from the winding roads. The peninsula is on a mountain so the roads were very sharp curves. We stopped at a village and got out of the car to try to find a place to stay at for the night. The village looked deserted. We walked into a restaurant and my mom asked if anybody spoke english and if there was a place to stay for the night. The lady had a hotel so she took us to her hotel. We're splurging because there is nothing else!! We are the only ones in the hotel because many people don't come to the village until the weekends. After, we walked to the center of the village and had food. The restaurant had two other people eating there. The server gave us the menu and told us the items he had available. We said we wanted the vegetable pie. When he gave us our food it was spinach pie and it looked microwaved! After we walked backed to our hotel for the night.
