We got our rental car this morning. First it didn't come with a GPS and the travel agent told us it would be cheaper than what we got! We managed to get our way out of Athens in a timely manner and onto the freeway. Once we were on the freeway for about an hour we got off to take a pitstop. And we couldn't figure out how to get back on the freeway for a while. We were in the car for about 4 hours until we made it to Volos. We got here on a sunday and everything is closed!! The ferry information, travel agencies, and all stores are closed. So we had a difficult time finding a hotel. Then we decided to look at lonely planet for a suggestion. With my good co-pilot skills I managed to get us to the hotel. We checked in and then left to walk around town. We walked down the water and decided to get an ice cream sundae. Everybody has a drink or ice cream around 5 at night. And everybody has dinner very late at night. We went back to the hotel to rest for an hour and half and to get ready. Around 9:30 we went for dinner.
