We got an early start to the day to go see Meteora. We drove to Kalambaka (very close to Kastraki) to pick up the bus that went to the top of Meteora. Meteora are rocks that have monasteries built into them. We took the bus to the top and went to a couple monasteries. The only way down was to hitch hike or walk down the road. So we chose to walk down the road (about 2 km) and take a taxi to Kalambaka to get our car. Once we got our car we went back up Meteora to catch a couple other monasteries. The whole day it was pouring on and off. After Meteora we went to Kalambaka for food and to walk around. Everything was closed when we were there. It was in between hours. We got a souvlaki as an early dinner.
