While we were getting our laundry done we drove to the Prespa Lakes. We went to 2 villages around them: Lemos and Agios Germanos. In Lemos a friendly man took us to see his horses. And my mom hopped on the horse and almost flew off the other side. The horse was bare back. The man was cracking the whole time. Our plan for the day was to reach Konitsa after a day of driving. The roads to the city were through mountains, mountains, and more mountains. I got car sick again!! We read in lonely planet about a guest house in town that we wanted to stay at. We found it and Johnny walks out. He was a character. He called us lovely american girls and many other things. First thing we got there he made us coffee. I didn't drink it. He offered me ouzo(greek liquor), but I said no thanks. About an hour after we were there he finally showed us a room. After we walked around the town and came back for dinner at his restaurant. He served all 4 tables the same thing: Spinach pie, hot feta cheese, beans, pork with fries, and a custard for dessert.
